Actress Liu Xue Hua

Liu Xue Hua is a famous Hong Kong actress, although a native of Shandong. Born in 1959 in Beijing, the 5-year-old moved to Hong Kong with her family. At the age of 12, she started to learn Chinese painting.She was later hired by a film company, Great Wall, Hong Kong in 1978, and thus her acting career began in 1982 when she was transferred to the Shaw Brothers movie agency.During 1983 whilst still in Hong Kong, she starred in the TV series '少女慈禧'. After that she went to Taiwan for the first time in 1984 filming the drama Ao Xiao Jiang Hu and Swordsman in 1985. In response to the invitation of the famous female writer Qiong Yao she starred in the TV series " Many Suns". Her rise to popularity occurred during the 80's and 90's, but she is still a mainstream successful actress through her recent roles in Jade Palace Lock Heart, and Legend of the Concubine Zhen Huan.
